Mmazame village in Mara, Tanzania is linked with the parish of St Mary's Luddenden, West Yorkshire, UK as part of the Leeds Diocese Link with the Diocese of Mara. Mmazame village community have benefitted over a number of years with funding towards various projects. In 2016 a small team went from St Mary's to help set up business opportunities such a community goat farm and sewing. Also while there, working with the children was a highlight.
