"We support the branch network with data and information to make their lives a bit easier on the front line. Our slant has changed because obviously the branches aren’t selling any products like mortgages and bank accounts – they're just doing basic banking transactions like cheques and cash - so we’re here to support them as much as we can or if any of the major systems go down. In turn that support helps the wider community who rely on cash machines and banking to survive. The hardest thing is I’m so used to going into the office so trying to recreate the team spirit and camaraderie in the home environment is the hardest thing, and other people’s mental health is the major consideration as we’re stuck in isolation and its not easy."
