"Covid-19 has had a dramatic effect on the way we operate - we introduced certain measures to ensure the safety of our colleagues and customers, these include a 4 customer limit, 2 metre signage and frequent cleaning of tills, baskets and card machines. The initial problems were explaining and instructing the new procedures, but now most customers are following them and are pleased with how well its gone so far.
Our staff have coped well in a difficult period for the store. It was tough to adjust to high volume of customers but rewarding knowing you have helped the community in a big way, where some customers can't travel and rely on McColl's as a local shop to get their essential goods"
